How it works

Three steps, one server

No auto-bans on day one. Relay watches, flags, and waits for a human.

01

Detect

Relay watches joins and messages for raid, spam, and abuse signals in real time.

02

Review

Flagged activity lands in a queue with the evidence, not a verdict.

03

Approve

A moderator approves or dismisses. Relay only acts once someone says go.

Features

What Relay actually watches for

Four detection surfaces, each feeding the same review queue.

Raid detection

Flags abnormal join bursts, new-account waves, and coordinated pile-ons before they flood your channels.

Review queue

Every flagged action — kick, timeout, or lockdown — sits in a queue with context until a moderator approves it.

No action fires without a human

Spam and mention abuse

Catches message floods, mass-mention pings, and repeated content across channels before they bury a conversation.

Server-wide lockdown

For active threats, raise verification level and pause invites for the whole server with one approval.

FAQ

Questions server owners ask

Does Relay ban people automatically?

No. Relay's default mode is review-queue only: it flags suspicious activity and waits for a moderator to approve or dismiss it before anything happens to a member.

Does Relay store my members' messages?

Relay is built to analyze moderation signals, not archive conversations. It does not intentionally store complete message contents. See the Privacy Policy for full detail.

What permissions does Relay need?

Only what the features you enable require — view channels and message history for detection, plus kick, timeout, ban, and manage-server permissions if you turn on the review-queue actions that use them.

Is Relay free?

Relay is currently free while in beta. If paid tiers are introduced later, pricing will be disclosed before anything is charged.
